I bought this for my seven-year-old’s birthday, it replaced his worn out DS. He loves the voice changer/recorder and he and his older brother play on it for hours as does my husband! The camera & morphing feature is just as much fun too, apart from the price it is a wonderful, fun and educational gift for any age.

my son loves it , better than the old dsi , much bigger than expected and nice bright screen with lots of added silly things to do , my son is seven and is really enjoying it , worth the few extra pennys !!!!!!

Very well built and love the colour; I went for dark brown, I got both and much prefered it to Wine Red. I really like the larger screens they are a lot more immersive and let you fell like your in the game. Seeing as the screen resolution is the same as the dsi’s I expected the graphics to be worse but I can’t tell the difference. I would definetly reccomend this to anybody and think ist is better than a Nintendo dsi’s and is worth the £30 extra.

No indication of the dameage to the console.
No pen included.
No indicator who was supplying item. Under the impression I was contracting with amazon-not a third party.
Overall very dissatisfied with the product,return policy and and payment for the return of the item.

The larger screen and additional features of the XL compared to the original DSI make this an excellent buy ; especially for older people who have difficulty with small screens. Even my 88 year old mum is using it competently !!

My daughter is 10 and loves this new DSI XL. We went straight from a normal DS to this so cannot comment on how different from small DSI.
The photo capabilities are really fun and compare with the MAC computers system Photo Booth. The voice system can also keep them occupied for hours. Then of course all your DS/DSI games are compatible with this easy to hold larger screen version. Amazon price is competitive too

I had the dsi xl bought me for my birthday ,, it was ordered early and I didnt want to put it on one side til the big day!! It can be very addictive ,, came with a small version of Brain training built in ,,, great fun trying to unlock all the levels,, Also ordered a couple of other games, second hand ones which were well worth the money ,
