Fantastic worth every penny, neat, tidy, compact in size. Fab ! I would recommend it over the unofficial carry cases.

Bought this to go with my son’s new DS lite. It is very well made, and does a great job of protecting the console, which fits perfectly within; snug but not a tight fit; altogether very well protected.

There is space for 3 games and a spare stylus. The zip is sturdy and will withstand use by a six-year old.

It doesn’t have any kind of carrying strap or attachment for one, which may be important for some users.

Very glad to have found this case; we have examined several others and have yet to find a better one; all the character and novelty versions are just not really up to the job.

    The best yet

I agree with the comments made in the previous review about the quality of the item and the padding – it is certainly the best case of its type that I have seen – but there is one important point I would add.

Although the case is described and packaged as being for the DSi, it works equally well with the DS Lite. In fact mine has a black DS Lite in it at the moment, which is a perfect fit. The slots for spare games are very useful and I couldn’t be more pleased, hence the five stars.

However, I do have a DSi coming, even if it’s not until Christmas, and right now I am wondering if the smaller console might not be a slightly loose fit in this case. Reading the other reviews, I think not and I don’t think Nintendo would make such an obvious mistake, but it’s a thought. Maybe I shall use my old DS Lite case, which feels slightly smaller, for the DSi. That would be ironic, wouldn’t it?

This DSi case is very good as it gives good space to store your DSi and also some of your games and gives good protection if you drop your console.

    Smart, small, well-padded case

Can’t agree with one of the reviewers here about the protection this case offers – I’ve found it great in that respect – see below:

This is a very smart case which is far, far more streamlined and attractive than any of the ‘non-official’ alternatives. I bought a white one as well and both colours look great.

It is small – you can just store the DSi (in my daughter’s case), a few games and a spare stylus; the low storage capacity is the price you pay for its sleekness – well worth it, if you ask me.

What is excellent, is the padding; my daughter has dropped her DSi several times, including once down a long flight of concrete stairs. The DSi has survived unscathed and fully functional.

In summary; it’s VERY smart and sleek, very well padded but not that big.

A nice item; it could be a bit cheaper or is it just reassuringly expensive?

Excellent quality but it wont protect it if you drop it. If you need that sort of protection, look elsewhere

    Great case!

A great, sturdy, compact case, that will deliver your DSi to your destination in perfect condition due to a lovely soft lining. It also carries 3 games (4 if you count the one in the DS) and a stylus in comfort. DSi fits perfectly in and despite soft materials, it has thick, hard layers beneath and I would feel safe dropping it with my DSi in from quite a hight, even kicking it about. What’s more, there is no stupid inner plastic bit that makes getting it in and out a faff. Brilliant!
